Keyboard does not work due to faulty keyboard.
Cause:
The original keyboard being used on the computer is faulty. A connection inside the keyboard could be bad, or the keyboard cable itself could be damaged.
Solution:
Replace the keyboard.
1) Turn off the computer.
2) Follow the keyboard cable to the back of the computer.
3) Gently pull the keyboard cable out of the keyboard port.
4) Gently insert the new keyboard cable adapter from the new keyboard into the keyboard port.
5) Restart the computer.
